Mirrors in Your Bedroom
Mirrors should not face East or North, as it is believed it can reflect positive energy away entering from there. Mirrors should not face the bed. It is preferable not to use mirrors if one can in order to have better quality of sleep.
Wall Clock in Your Bedroom
It can be hung in East, West and North direction. However, you should keep it away from the headrest of your bed. Avoid using clocks with pendulum as it emits unsuitable energy and it will bring illness to the people who live.
Furniture in Living Room
Big and heavy furniture such as sofa set should be kept in west or South-West direction of the living room.
Bed in Bedroom
The bed should be placed against the wall in South or West direction so that the legs points towards North or East. If you have a guest room than the headrest of that bed should be placed towards West. Avoid using steel beds, wooden ones can be the best.
Pooja Unit
North-East of your house is always an ideal location for Pooja unit of your house as god resides in that direction. You can have your pooja unit in the North-East direction of your living room or have a pooja room in the same direction.
Kitchen Layout
Kitchen should be place in the South-East direction of your home, if you can’t do it than North-East, direction will work. It should never be above pooja room, toilet or bathroom. The sink. Refrigerator and stove should be kept close to each other in one set. Distance of 3 feet should be maintained in between them in the total space of 9 feet.
False Ceiling
Choose the design of false ceiling which doesn’t have any spherical structure just like the furniture of the living room. Choose designs like rectangle and square which have corners.
Dining Table
Dining table should be kept away from the living room. According to vastu the dining table should not be seen by the guest who visit the house. It is best in West and second best in North or East. Unlike other furniture it should not be of any spherical shape. Family members should not face the South while dining as it will cause dispute amongst them. Do not keep the dining table under the beam or any sort of light.
Windows
The windows and the doors of your house should always be of even number i.e. 2,4,6,8 etc but avoiding 10. Windows should be symmetrical in shape size and height. Bigger windows should be face in north, North-East direction to lt in the positive energy. Avoid windows faces South-West directions as sun’s harmful UV rays are projected the most in this direction.
Have Plants
Having plants in a house brings a lot of positivity. However, its not allowed to keep water-based plants in your bedroom. Plants can be ideal to keep in the corners of your living room. However, make sure you don’t keep them in the entrance and create obstacle which is considered to be bad.
Windchime
Wooden windchime are considered to be the best. It can be place near window where winds come in. It is best to hang them in East, south or South East direction. It will bring growth when hung in East, prosperity when hung in South East and brings fame when hung in south direction.
TV
TV should be best installed in the South-East corner of the living room. Since living room is the which bring family together avoid keeping your television in North-East and soyuth-west direction. Avoid keeping television in your bedrooms.
